East Bergen Christian Church currently has staff vacancies, and is seeking candidates for:

[1] FULL-TIME PASTOR - we are seeking a full-time pastor to join our pastoral team in leading a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Please send all inquiries and resumes to the Pastor Search Committee email: ebccnjpsc@gmail.com.

This position will oversee the English ministry and lead the English congregation, which includes young professionals, families, and members of the youth group. You will have contact with and be responsible for married couples, parents, and singles alike, but you can also focus on your area of expertise. Ministry will occur through preaching, teaching, fellowship, and administering Holy sacraments, such as the Lord’s Supper and Baptism. The candidate should also be able to work closely with staff and the board of deacons, both of which include members of our Chinese congregation, and therefore have some familiarity with Asian-American culture. Fluency in the English language is a must, oral and written. Chinese language skill would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.

[2] PART-TIME MINISTER - seeking a part-time minister to join our ministry team in serving a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Please send all inquiries and resumes to the Pastor Search Committee email: ebccnjpsc@gmail.com

This position will primary focus on working with the church’s youth group, students ages 14-19, who are part of our English congregation. Ministry will occur mainly on Sundays through teaching Sunday school and leading Bible lessons, but also through weekly youth group gatherings, which may include elements such as fellowship meetings, outdoor sporting activities, or small groups for mentorship. Approximate weekly time commitment is 20 hours. The candidate should also be able to work closely with staff and the board of deacons, both of which include members of our Chinese congregation. Fluency in the English language is a must, oral and written. Chinese language skill would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
